Mellow is a 120 bpm instrumental and electronic jazz love song, where saxophone starts clean then take action, at the and, with some nice distortion. Don't you think the last part of the song reminds Daft Punk sound?

The third volume of Jazz-o-Tech's White Gardenia compilation series arrives on March 29 and is another superb showcase of the label's talented roster and unique signature sound. Contributing are the likes of Aki Himanen, Matt Prete, Morgen Wurde, Flat Maze, the TUN collective and many more.

This latest collection of sounds from the tasteful Italian label once again offers a snapshot of what it does best - innovative, often improvisational music that joins the dots between techno and jazz. Artists come from all over Europe and beyond and each one blends the traditional and the contemporary, the organic with the synthetic, the abstract with the tangible, all with plenty of real-world emotion.

Aki Himanen & Fabio Giachino kick off with the freeform dancing chords and wiry synth and basslines of 'Solid Jitter' then Big Tusk then brings slow burning grooves and trumpet-laced melancholy to 'Bad Mammuth'. Flat Maze's 'Barbecue in Monferrato' (White Gardenia edit) is rich in percussion with darker jazz undertones and synth modulations, Mattia Prete, Daniel Calvi & Leonie Freudenberger combine for the pulsating deep techno of 'Margherita' and Morgen Wurde & Tis feat. Tetsuroh Konishi keeps it low-slung and atmospheric with the lingering piano notes of 'Angetastet.' There is true expressionism in the conversational trumpets and thudding techno kicks of 'Anomalie' from Resonances (IT) X Augusto Ferretti Feat.
